The Senate is set to invite the minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, transportation minister, Rotimi Amaechi, Works Minister Babatunde Fashola, FCT Minister Mohammed Bello and other agencies over the proposed closure of the Abuja Airport for a six-week.
The resolution followed a motion by Senator Hope Uzodinma of the PDP over the proposed closure of the Abuja Airport for repairs.
The senate is to hold a public hearing with the affected ministries and agencies this week to find an alternative solution to the airport closure.
