The Nigerian Senate has set a benchmark for itself with the view of addressing the major challenges facing the country. National Assembly Correspondent, Tijesu Adeoye reports that the 9th Senate Legislative Agenda is focused on pressing issues confronting the country, ranging from security ,Education, Agriculture, petroleum, corruption and the need for fresh reforms.
At the Friday’s Plenary, the Agenda was brought before the Senate and Lawmakers discussed how best to Execute this task.

Some Lawmakers believe a reorientation is the first Step to achieving this target if all recommendations must see the light of day.
After a 5 hour long Deliberation on the enormous task before them,Lawmakers believe the 9th Senate is Capable of delivering on the expectations of Nigerians.
