Five hundred drums of petroleum product worth millions of naira have been intercepted by men of the Border drill operation, posted to Lolo Border post in Kebbi state.
This is an area where Nigeria shares a border with Benin Republic.
The seizure is the second of its kind in the last one month as over six hundred drums were also intercepted earlier in January along Yauri Border post.
