The National Teachers Institute has trained more than three thousand, five hundred primary school teachers across the country.
The institute said the move is in fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals and is aimed at improving educational standards across the country.
Director-General of the institute, Professor Garba Azare, told some of the teachers in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State that their training will cover four areas.
These are communication skills, effective classroom management, basic classroom teaching methods and techniques, as well as ICT.
