The Rivers State Police Command has announced the appointment of Agabe Kaborlo as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the outgoing spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, who said the appointment was approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.
Kaborlo, a native of Rivers State, joined the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2023 after completing her training at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she obtained a law degree. She also holds a Master of Laws degree from Rivers State University.

According to the statement, she has undertaken several professional courses, including training in combat operations, counter-terrorism, and leadership development, and has served in various capacities within the force.

Her previous postings include the Divisional Police Station in Okporo, the Human Rights Section, and the Police Public Relations Office, where she served as Second-in-Command.
The command expressed confidence in her capacity to deliver in her new role, noting that her appointment is expected to enhance communication, transparency, and engagement between the police and the public.
