The Management of Seplat Energy has confirmed the death of one it’s personnel with 3 Others still missing after the capsizing of its Depthwise Swamp Drilling Rig “Majestic” while being moved to its planned drilling location at Ovhor in Delta state.
According to a statement from the company posted it’s Instagram handle, 92 personnel of the 96-member crew of rig have been rescued.
The company while commiserating the family of the dead personnel says effort to rescue the three missing crew members is ongoing as it promises to provide further details about the accident
