Residents of Michika and Madagali local governments areas of Adamawa state have expressed displeasure over the decision of the National Youth Service Corps not to post corps members to their areas due to issues of security.
Madagali and Michika local governments have not received corps members for seven years.
2400 Batch C corps members for 2019 deployed to Adamawa state are currently at the orientation camp at Bajabure camp and none of them may be
posited to Madagali and Michika due to Insecurity in the area.
Governor Umaru Fintiri has assured them of their safety in the state, but that may not change the mind of the authorities.
