The sudden and mysterious death of a young man, Isaiah Bademosi, inside his employer’s residence in Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, has triggered widespread protests and calls for justice.

The incident, which has unsettled residents, led to demonstrations as protesters stormed the streets of Ile-Oluji with placards and chants, demanding a thorough investigation.

Leading the protest was Isaiah’s younger sister, Rachel Bademosi, who accused authorities of mishandling the case. She alleged that her brother’s body was taken to a mortuary without the knowledge of his wife or family.

According to her, the investigation was later transferred to the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) in Akure but has produced no concrete answers so far.

“This is not just about my brother,” Rachel declared during the protest. “This is about justice for every family. We cannot keep silent. Nigerians must help us get answers.”

When contacted, the spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Olushola Ayanlade, said he had not yet been fully briefed on the matter but promised to provide details in due course.
