In Osogbo, the Osun State capital, the planned protest has commenced.
The protesters currently converged on the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, venue of the protest, though few in number, playing music and displaying banners to show their grievances.

Security operatives are at the venue to ensure the protest is not hijacked.
Some of the operatives are also stationed at strategic junctions and places to maintain law and order.
However, Shops and market are shut while only few vehicles are plying the roads over fear of being attacked as witnessed during Endsars protest.
