Copies of Britain’s Prince Harry’s autobiography ‘Spare’ has captivated people across the world and is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest books as thousands queue to get a copy of the book.

A series of high profile interviews along with leaked excerpts, some premature sales of the book in Spain heightened interest in a memoir that offers a frank if one-sided look at Harry’s life.

The book has garnered attention around the world with its disclosures about his personal struggles and its accusations about other royals, including his father King Charles, stepmother Camilla and elder brother Prince William.

There were piles of copies of the book in some London stores and the memoir currently ranks as the best-seller on Amazon’s UK, U.S., Australian German and Canadian websites.

Harry says he decided to write spare when he traveled to Britain for his grandfather’s funeral in April 2021.

There he had a staggering realisation that neither his father nor his brother truly understood why he and his wife Megan had to move to California.

“Spare”, published by Penguin Random House, is the latest revelatory offering from Harry and his wife Meghan since they stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California to forge a new life, and follows their Netflix documentary last month.

The royal family has not commented on the book or the interviews and is unlikely to do so.
