The Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Oluwatoyin Afiz Ogun says the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the organisation to empower 20million Artisans in the next four years has started yielding positive results.
Mr. Ogun stated this while addressing some artisans’ groups as well as some All Progressives Congress chieftains led by Alex Ajipe.
The Director General pointed out that the ITF initiative is aimed at ensuring that artisans in the country can compete favourably with their counterparts abroad
According to him, President Tinubu is creating different platforms for the artisans to become millionaires.
Mr. Ogun said the artisans in Nigeria are more than 50% percent of the population, stressing that they should be given special attention.
