Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari says his government is committed to connecting the country’s commercial centres and state capitals with the rail system.
Buhari made the disclosure in Kaduna state, northwest of the country.
There he inaugurates ten coaches and two locomotives to the Kaduna-Abuja rail line.
The President also inaugurated the first ever dry inland port in the country, also in Kaduna.
The move is expected to boost commerce, import and export especially of agricultural products in northern Nigeria and the country at large
