President Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence that Nigeria will overcome its present economic difficulties, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to building a resilient and prosperous nation.

Speaking on Wednesday at the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) Conference in Abuja, the President said the economic reforms introduced by his government, though tough, are essential to securing long-term stability and growth.

“We may be poor; poverty is not going to be our milestone. We are going to come out of it,” Tinubu declared.

He noted that the measures being implemented are aimed at restructuring the economy to ensure sustainable development and improved living standards for all Nigerians.

Tinubu also urged stakeholders, particularly members of the media, to play an active role in national development by promoting accountability, unity, and hope.

“The media and every stakeholder have a vital role to play in shaping a better Nigeria,” he added.
