The Nigeria Police in Damaturu have paraded the two suspected soldiers who allegedly murdered Sheikh Goni Aisami and a kidnap kingpin known as Jodi who has been Terrorising the state for the past months.

Parading the suspects before journalists at the state Criminal investigation department in Damaturu, the image maker of the state police command, Dungus Abdulkareem, says they would be charged to court after thorough findings.

Lance Corporal John Gabriel, a soldier, is the main suspect who allegedly killed the Islamic scholar after an attempt to steal his car on Friday night.

The deceased who was returning from Kano gave him a lift to Gashua before the tragic incident occurred.

The suspect confessed that he concealed his rifle in a camp bed to carry out the destardly act.

The suspect confesses that after killing the Islamic preacher, the stolen car refused to start.

This prompted him to call this other soldier, his friend, to come fix the car but all their efforts were to no avail before they were arrested.

The image maker of the state command, DSP Dungus Abdulkareem, speaks on what the public should be expecting on the unfortunate incident.

In a separate development, a kidnap kingpin, who has been Terrorising residents, as well as other suspects who committed various crimes were also paraded by the command.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned after investigations are concluded.

It will be recalled that the late Sheik Goni Aisami who was a prominent Isklamic Preacher in Yobe State was on his way from Kano State when he reportedly saw two Soldiers who were looking for Transportation to Yobe late on Friday night.

He reportedly offered them a lift and was killed by one of the two Soldiers a few hours after before getting to his destination.

President Muhammadu Buhari had condemned his murder directing Security agencies to arrest the killers and bring them to book.

His death had led to mourning gnashing of teeth by prominent indigenes of the State.
