The operatives of the Benue State Police Command have neutralized two bandits at their hideout in Katsina-Ala LGA, Benue State.
Available information indicates that the operatives of Operation Zenda stormed the bandits’ hideout located at Tse Uza, Mbatyula Council Ward in Katsina-Ala LGA.
Upon arrival at the camp, they engaged the bandits in a gun duel which resulted in serious injuries to the bandits, while others escaped.
However, the injured bandits were rushed to the General Hospital at Ukum where they were declared dead, and their corpses were deposited at the morgue.
Items recovered from them include two pistols loaded with ammunition, three locally made shotguns, 13 motorcycles, camouflage uniforms, six walkie-talkies, one Toyota Corolla, and one tricycle.
