The Nigerian Police are stepping up efforts to secure the release of the mother of former coach of the Super Eagles, Oge-ere Siasia, abducted with a woman and her daughter in Odoni Community of Sagbama Council Area of Bayelsa State.
Visiting the community for the second time after the incident, Commissioner of Police Uche Anozia assured the natives of their safe return, but urged them to partner with the police to avert a recurrence in the area.
Commissioner of Police, Uche Anozia arrived the home of Harrison Siasia, father of the former coach of the Super Eagles and husband of the abducted seventy six-year-old Oge-ere Siasia.
The State Police boss also visited the family of the abducted Florence Dounana and her granddaughter Siliki-ere before going to see the waterfront.
The Police are strategising to secure the community to avert a recurrence.
Time is of the essence as the police intensify efforts to secure the release of the trio.
