The Ogun state police command has arrested two suspected kidnappers allegedly responsible for many kidnap and killings in Ijebu Igbo and its environs.
The Police in Ogun State have also confirmed that a seven-man kidnap gang was responsible for the abduction and killing of a 71 year old man and another 37 years old man and buried them In shallow graves at different locations.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Abiodun Alamutu made this known while leading his men and health officers to the forest where the the victims were buried.
Two members of the gang have been arrested and they are currently assisting the police with the investigation.
The Commissioner of Police who assured residents that the fleeing members of the gang would be arrested say the suspects after collecting ransom, killed the victims.
The suspects confessed that they are part of the notorious gang and they were lured into the illicit business by those at large.
Relatives of the victims commended the police for unveiling the killers and called for justice.
The arrest of this suspect came up in less than two weeks that some suspected kidnappers were killed in a gun battle with the Police along Sagamu area of the state.
The Commissioner of Police in the state assured residents of their security.
