The minister of water resources and sanitation, Joseph Utsev has disclosed that plans for the water and sanitation sector will be achieved within the coming years in line with the renewed hope agenda of the present administration.
He says the plans for the improvement of dams, irrigation, water quality and supply are priority areas which will be completed as a monitoring and evaluation framework for measuring deliverables and assess objectives has also been set up by the ministry ahead of 2024.
Prof. Joseph also highlighted the need for all citizens to key into the ongoing clean Nigeria, using the toilet campaign, created to address behavioral change towards ending open defecation by the year 2025.
