The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has Presented the 2023 Budget to the State House of Assembly, christened, Budget of strong beginning.
Total Budget of 114,424,664,318, with the recurrent expenditure taking 70% of the Budget, While Capital takes 30%.
While presenting the Budget, the Governor says inputs obtained from the Senatorial Visits have been incorporated and told people of the State to expect massive economic growth and infrastructure
The Governor was Quick to thumb up the immediate past administration for embarking on Legacy Projects as he made commitment to complete ongoing Projects and embark on new ones.
The Focus of the 2023 Budget will be to improve IGR, and to shed reliance on Federation Allocation, and emphasises on Fiscal Caution, Transparency and Accountability.
