The Osun state police command is moving to keep the peace between farmers and herdsmen in the state.
Conscious of the clashes between herdsmen and farmers over disputes over grazing on farmlands in different parts of the country, the command has been holding meetings with the herdsmen and farmers to maintain peace in the state.

At a meeting held at police headquarters in Osogbo, the Osun state Commissioner of Police, Olafimihan Adeoye enjoined the two groups to continue to live in peace while also assuring them of police protection.
