Residents of Ifon-Orolu in Orolu Local Government Area of Osun State have appealed to the state government to release the White Paper on the report of the 100-member committee set up to resolve the Ifon/Ilobu boundary dispute.
In a statement jointly signed by the National Executive and the Board of Trustees of the Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union, the residents said the release of the White Paper would enhance public confidence, transparency, accountability, and policy direction, while also encouraging stakeholder engagement toward a lasting resolution of recurring communal clashes.
The community expressed concern that several months after the committee submitted its report to the state government, no official communication has been made public, a development they said has generated anxiety among residents.
