A social struggle leader, Comrade Benjamin Olarotimi has emerged the governorship candidate of Zenith LabourParty (ZLP) after beating his sole challenger, Pastor Olusegun Esho.
The Party has become the first political party to hold primaries to pick its candidate for the October 10, 2020 governorship election in ondo state.
uring a convention held in Akure, the Ondo state capital. Mr. Olarotimi scored six- five votes out of ninety votes to defeat Mr. Esho who polled 20 votes
The exercise monitored by INEC officials was organized by Convention committee headed by Mr Eni Akinsola.

The convention was attended by a former Governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko and the State Chairman of ZLP, Hon Joseph Akinlaja.
