The State Welfare Secretary of the Ondo State chapter of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Hon. Omotola Akinseye, is dead.
Mr Akinseye succumbed to the ultimate call Monday evening, at the Trauma Centre of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo at the age of 67 years.
The state chapter of the APC has described his death as painful.
According to a statement issued by the publicity secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaiye, the deceased will be greatly missed.
The statement added , “Ondo APC Will definitely miss the political experience of Akinseye
“As the State Welfare Secretary, he discharged his duties with integrity, zeal, and sense of responsibility. His commitment to peace and fairness was enviable.”
He was a one time Councillor, and later Special Assistance to former governor Olusegun Agagu.
While praying God to accept his soul, the party commiserated with the immediate family, friends, the Redeemed Christian Church, and Ile Oluji/ Okeigbo branch of APC.
