Delta State Governor and People’s Democratic Party Vice Presidential Candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa has inaugurated the state campaign council.
Speaking during the inauguration, the PDP presidential running mate advised opposition party in the state to focus on issues not mudslinging which he says has characterised APC party in the state.
The speaker of the state house of Assembly and PDP governorship candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori reeled out his intention to build on the successes of the Governor Okowa.
Meanwhile, the former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Senator James Manager, David Edevbie among others bigwigs of the Peoples Democratic Party were absent at the inauguration on Thursday in Asaba.
Edevbie, who is the anointed candidate of Ibori, had dragged Okowa’s anointed candidate, Oborevwori to court over certificates saga which was recently dismissed in favour of Oborevwori, was on the list of state campaign council released by the party on Monday.
