Africa Forbes, in conjunction with Foreign Investment Network (FIN). wll on Friday September 11, 2020 hold its FIN Philantrophy Roundtable Discussion and Forbes Award Ceremony.
The ceremony will be an online roundtable discussion to be supported by the World Philanthropy Network.
With the theme: “Harnessing The financial resources and social capital of philanthropy to making a lasting impact,” the event will also honour prominent African leaders with the Forbes award.
Prominent Africans will also honour some Nigerians for their contributions to the financial services sector in the country and the African continent.
Managing Director/CEO of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Adesola Adeduntan will be bestowed with the Forbes Best of Africa awards for his contributions to the financial services sector.
Apart from the First Bank chief, other prominent African business leaders to be honoured at the event are the CEO of Ocean Marine Security Ltd, Mr Idahosa Wells Okunbo; and founder and executive chairman of Online Integrated Solutions Ltd, Mr Mahmood Ahmadu.
Former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo will deliver a keynote address at the event.
