The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured residents of Ondo state that it won’t postpone the governorship elections set for Saturday, November the 26th.
INEC’s Director of Election and Party Monitoring, Bala Shittu said this at the public presentation of an observation and research guide for the Ondo state governorship polls.

Election observers at the forum urged INEC to resist any attempt to be intimidated or arm-twisted into postponing the election.
They also asked the judiciary not to allow itself to be used as an instrument to derail the electoral process.
