The Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas said it needs $12 billion to fund the construction of two new processing units.Currently the terminal has six smaller trains in which gas is compressed and cooled to 258 degrees below Fahrenheit before being piped as LNG onto ships at nearby jetties.
Reports say the firm need funds to boost production capacity that will aid export of 66 million cubic meters a year to markets in Europe and Asia.
