Nigerian athlete, Paul Dedewo set a new national indoor record in the men’s 300m at the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships.
Dedewo ran 31.92 secs to break the former national record of 33.09secs, which was set by Kunle Fasasi in January.
Dedewo ran 32.38 secs in the heats before hitting the new record in the final.
The 26-year-old has been in an impressive-form this season as he works towards meeting the standards for the 400m event of the 2017 World Championships in London.
Paul started the 2017 season with the 400m with an indoor personal best of 46.33 secs before he ran another 45.73secs a week later to better his effort.
