The Nigeria centre for Disease Control has reported 276 new cases of coronavirus overnight, taking the country’s total number of cases to 8,344.
Of the 276 new cases, Lagos recorded the highest number with 161 cases, followed by Rivers with 36, Edo 27, Kaduna 19, Nasarawa 10, Oyo 6,Kano 4, Delta and Ebonyi 3 cases each, Gombe 2 new cases, Ogun, Ondo, Borno, Abia and Bauchi each recorded one case.
So far, 2,385 patients have been discharged while the country has recorded 249 deaths.
