Registration of new businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria has been reduced from 10 to two days.
This was made known in Abuja on Monday by the Presidential Council on Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria.
The council had set up a 24-hour time line for company registration from the day of application by business promoters.
The council’s report, made public by the Vice-President’s media aide, Laolu Akande, shows that there has been integration of the Federal Inland Revenue Service e-payment solution into the Corporate Affairs Commission’s portal for e-stamping of documents.
The reform empowers Corporate Affairs Commission to certify company incorporation forms and declarations on compliance.
