Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence anniversary, emphasizing the importance of upholding the rule of law and pursuing reforms that will strengthen true federalism.
In a statement, Governor Adeleke described the anniversary as a critical moment for reflection on Nigeria’s constitutional democracy, adherence to the rule of law, and the delivery of good governance.
While acknowledging the progress made since Independence, the governor stressed the need to safeguard the foundation of national governance through strict compliance with the constitution and respect for democratic institutions.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering national and sub-national development as democracy deepens, urging citizens to remain law-abiding, peaceful, and united.
