It’s been 23 years now since Nigeria were last ranked in the top 10 of world football and the country’s Football Federation is planning to return the Super Eagles to the same height they attained in 1994.
NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi believes the country can be among the top 10 teams in the FIFA World Ranking before the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Reacting to Nigeria’s recent leap to 41st position in the world, Sanusi said the target was to be number one in Africa and make the top 10 in the world before the 2018 showpiece in Russia
Nigeria were ranked 5th in the world after the USA 1994 world cup.
