The Benue State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), says over two hundred persons have been arrested for the abuse of various kind of drugs.
This was disclosed after a staged road Walk in Makurdi Against Drug Abuse to create awareness about the need for all Nigerians to desist from the abuse of drugs.

The road walk which started from the state Command in Makurdi to Modern market and back is to inform the public on the level of damage drugs abuse has done in society.
The War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) is a call to awaken the minds of every Nigerian on the need to join in eradicating the drug abuse menace.
The state command listed out some of the challenges the command face particularly in the area of rehabilitation.
