Residents of Keffi Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, have commended the Federal Government for the speed and quality of the Keffi-Lafia road, which is now under construction and is scheduled to be completed in early 2023.
In an interview with journalists, they stated that the road project’s construction business, China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), is not only producing great work, but is also responding to its corporate social obligation to the public.
Residents also commended Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Works, for his dedication to seeing that the road project—which will aid the state’s residents in terms of economic development and growth—comes to fruition.
Leaders in Keffi who were full of gratitude for the government said since the present administration started constructing the road, the residents have benefited in one way or the other as the construction company employed some of them.
They re-emphasized on the need for all construction companies in Nigeria to involve in corporate services in their various communities of engagement, most especially in the area of employment.
