The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has staged a peaceful walk in Irele town in Irele local government area of Ondo state over the disappearance of a university student, Gideon Akindoyo.The university student was declared missing on 11th of June but NANS alleged that he was kidnapped.
The students walked round the town and urged the security agencies and stakeholders to ensure that the student is found unhurt.

NANS Senate President, Henry Okunomo called for the immediate release of Akindoyo, saying the circumstances surrounding his disappearance is causing immense distress to his family and the community.
He also appealed to the Ondo State Government to intervene and put an end to the prolonged dispute between the people of Irele and Igbobini in ESE Odo local government area
