The National Association of Nigerian Students have gathered around the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, to protest against the prolonged strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
The students continued with the protest despite heavy rain and security presence.

They insist that the protest will continue until the classroom are reopened.

The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities have been on Strike since February 14 paralysing Academic activities in all Universities across the country with its attendant Social problems.
Students of Universities have also joined the call for the Federal Government to do what is necessary to bring the Industrial action to an end.
