Yobe governor Ibrahim Gaidam, is blaming the military for the attack in Dapchi.
He said the withdrawal of troops from the town paved way for the attack on the school.
Gaidam, while receiving his Borno state counterpart Kashim Shettima in the state capital, Damaturu, said soldiers were withdrawn from Dapchi barley a week before the insurgents struck.
He said if the troops had been around, the attack would not have occurred.
