In addressing these issues, a summit was held to charge and remind journalists of their code of ethics.
Speakers at the summit stated that journalists must report and speak the truth, and that media people should never be scared to write about the truth because the truth will set Nigeria free.
Journalists were urged to reduce reliance on social media but to have all facts on hand.
