Voting has commenced in the Zuru State House of Assembly by-election, with a noticeably low turnout recorded in some polling units visited.

In Zuru town, many residents were seen carrying on with their daily activities as shops, filling stations, and other businesses remained open despite the election.

At Mango Waje Polling Unit in the Manga area of Zuru, voting began at 9:14 a.m. with only a handful of voters present and waiting to cast their ballots at the time of observation.
