The Nigerian Military authorities have taken a swipe at the Governor of Zamfara, who recently attributed the continued security challenges to the lack of political will.
Director of Defence Media Operations Major General Edward Buba bemoaned the state for not having a facility where security forces can coordinate operations. General Buba affirmed the governor’s remarks that Zamfara is indeed the epicentre of banditry in the country.
The military authorities have also shared a video where the Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State indicted politicians , district heads and local government chairmen of being part of banditry in the state.
Major General Edward Buba explained that as at Wednesday, troops lost 9 men in operations in Zamfara State.
