Suspected Lakurawa bandits on Monday invaded Dogon Daji, Danmarke, Yar Goru, Tambo, Birnin Debi, Garin Nagoro and Garin Rugga villages, all in Arewa LGA, communities between Nigeria and Niger Republic and killed eleven persons with two others sustaining wounds from gunshot.
The suspected bandits also set ablaze some houses in the affected villages.

Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello Sani who visited the scene of that attacks for an on the spot assessment, interacted with the Police, Army, Civil Defence and vigilante personnel already deployed to combat crimes in the area.
The CP equally condemned the incident and deployed additional tactical teams and charged them to decisively deal with suspected Lakurawa bandits operating in the area.
CP Sani also met with critical stakeholders in the area, where he condoled them and appealed that they should always assist the Police and other security agencies with relevant and timely information for prompt response.
