Report reaching us now from Borno indicates that Shaffa village of Hawul Local Government Area is currently under attack by Boko Haram terrorists.
The insurgents were said to have invaded the village this evening and started shooting sporadically on villagers as well as setting houses ablaze.
Most villagers ran into the bush for safety as the insurgents continue shooting.
Number of casualty is yet to be ascertained.
