Journalists and delegates on Friday scampered for safety as thugs disrupted the Akure South/North Primary election with gunshots.
As at the time of filing this report, gunshots are still being fired at the venue of Akure North/South Primary election at Ade Super Hotel in Akure, Ondo state.
Our correspondent reports that trouble started when the votes cast were about to be counted.
Some journalists who were at the venue have to run for their lives.
