Former President, Goodluck Jonathan said Nigeria needs a knowledge-based society with youths playing active roles in the government structure of the country. He said this when members of “New Nigeria 2019” paid him a visit in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital.
Ovieteme George reports that since “NN19” was unveiled in Enugu, members of the movement have been on the road visiting eminent citizens of the country including former military Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and now ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
Members of “NN19” are advocating for what they call “generational neutrality” in the Nigeria political space.
The youth movement also wants Nigerians to collect their Permanent Voters Card to perform their civic duties.
