The House of Representatives member , representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency Babajimi Benson, has assured the people of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State that he will put their interest first by facilitating more constituency projects if re-elected for another term.
Benson made the promise at the official flag-off of his campaign, at the Ipakodo Ferry Terminal, Ikorodu.
As Nigeria looks ahead to general elections come February 2023, political parties and their candidates have remained undeterred to ensure the heart of their people are won before the exercise.
In Southwest Nigeria, Ikorodu city in Lagos state remains one of the cities to look for, having possessed many political , Like gladiators Like Jimi Benson as well as a large number of electorate across the state
Now, to boost the party’s , the house of reps, Jimi Benson flagged off his campaign in Ikorodu to engage members of his constituents and listen to their worries.
One of the high point of the rally is unveiling of the former pdp east former Vice Chairman , Otunba Amid Oduborisa who decamped from PDP to APC.
Mr Benson believes the good works done by the party in the state is enough earn them landslide victory across all levels at the polls especially in Ikorodu
Speaking on his defection Mr Oduborisa says Asiwaju’s achievements as Lagos state governor couldn’t be overemphasized.
For APC , they plead on people of Ikorodu and Lagos in general to vote for them in other for continuity.
With less than 50 days to the general election, many have been advised to go get their permanent voters card in other to perform their civic duty.
