A man identified as Deji Adenuga has allegedly set eight family members of his estranged girlfriend ablaze. The incident happened at Adetuwo Street, Igbodigo town, in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Five of the victims have died, while three others were receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre, Ondo town, Ondo State.
Adenuga was said to be dating a girl in the family, identified only as Titi who later called off the relationship.
In retaliation, the suspect was alleged to have set the room where the family lived ablaze.
