An elder statesman and philanthropist, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has urged the National Assembly to hasten up the process of restructuring Nigeria into more formidable constituent parts that can be autonomous in their economic outlook.
Speaking at his seventy five years birthday celebration in Abuja organized by Southeast political office holders, Iwuanyanwu advocated a return to a stronger local government system.
Iwuanyanwu says he is looking forward to a restructuring that would make local government areas more powerful with past national public officials returning to their communities as council chairmen and councillors to provide quality leadership at the grassroots.
