The Nigerian Airforce has neutralised several fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province at their hideout near Baga in Borno state.
Director of Public Relations and Information, Ibikunle Daramola, says the attack was conducted by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole on December the 29th.
This was after intelligence and surveillance revealed the terrorists were hiding under some trees around the fish dam near Baga.
Several terrorists were killed and some injured when the team dispatched an Alpha Jet aircraft to attack the location.
