Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned War is “returning to the territory of Russia” and is now “inevitable”.

The Ukrainian president who spoke in a video address said his country has been getting stronger against Russia’s invasion.

It comes after Russians were woken up to drones attacking the skyscrapers of Moscow City in the early hours of Monday.

Russian authorities said three Ukrainian drones attacked the country’s business centre, injuring one person and prompting a temporary closure of traffic in and out of one of four airports.

It was the fourth such attempt at a strike on the capital region this month and the third this week, fuelling concerns about Moscow’s vulnerability to drone strikes.

Meanwhile Ukraine’s deputy defence minister says Ukrainian forces have steadily recaptured land from Russian troops in the east and the south over the past week.

Hanna Maliar revealed that the defenders advanced In the direction of Bakhmut, following trials to stop their advances during the week.
This comes amid reports of plans by Saudi Arabia host a summit to discuss Ukraine’s plan for peace amid the ongoing Russian invasion.
