A meeting of members of the Inter Agency Consultative Committee On Electoral Security is currently going on in Akure, the Ondo state capital ahead of the state governorship election.
The chairman of the committee and chairman of the Independent National Electoral, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, said INEC will be fair to all the political parties that will participate in the election.

He said over two hundred voter cards have not been collected in the last registration exercise.
The co chairman of the committee and the state Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Oladipo said the security agencies in the state will synergize to make the election peaceful.
